Site Analytics
The Analytics dashboard shows how your site is performing across visitors, content, events, and search visibility. Open it from your site in the portal.
Where the data comes from
Analytics combines Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and Azure Application Insights. Cards that depend on a source you haven't connected show "Not configured" rather than an estimated value. Search data comes from Search Console; page-view telemetry comes from Application Insights.
Choosing a time range
The overview has a period selector with 7d, 30d, 90d, and 12m options. It drives the visitors trend chart and the headline metrics.
Overview metrics
Four headline cards summarise the selected period:
| Card | What it measures |
|---|---|
| Visitors | Distinct visitors |
| Sessions | Visit sessions |
| Bounce Rate | Share of single-page visits |
| Avg Duration | Average session length |
Each card links through to a detailed view (traffic, page views, and events).
Charts
- Visitors Trend — visitors over time for the selected period.
- Top Countries by Visitors — geographic distribution of your audience.
- Visitor Breakdown — new vs. returning visitors.
- Top Pages by Views — most-visited pages, from Application Insights telemetry.
Search performance
When Google Search Console is connected, a Search Queries table lists the organic queries bringing people to your site, with Clicks, Impressions, CTR, and Average Position for each. A Tracked Keywords snapshot summarises how many keywords you're tracking and how many are rising.

Email reports
From the dashboard you can configure scheduled email reports to receive weekly or monthly analytics summaries in your inbox. Use Configure Reports to set them up.
